Description courtesy of Trails off road

Easily the hardest trail in the San Bernardino Mountain Range, Motino Wash is a great off-road trail to push your limits for even the most experienced drivers Situated almost directly between Holcomb Valley and Johnson Valley lies a secret of Big Bear that most are unaware of. The trail is a perfect cross of the Hammers and Holcomb Valley trails with plenty of hard lines that are required and even harder optional. Many of the extreme groups love this jeep trail because of the difficulty, location, and the fact is a low traffic trail. If you are very experienced, have a built rig, love some epic rock crawling, then this trail might be for you! Motino Wash is tucked away on the east side of Big Bear where many don’t look for difficult trails like the more popular ones in Holcomb Valley. Thus the reason that few have heard of this trail. The trail is comprised of many large boulders over 5 feet tall, rock slides, waterfalls, and ledges. Body damage is a real possibility on this trail!!!!

**The Motino Wash run will have strict requirements for running. This is a very difficult trail, 7/10**
