Our Secretary, Cathy Johnson, is fairly new to wheeling and the off-road community, obtaining her second Jeep, a 2019 Sahara Wrangler in 2019 and two years later, upgrading to a 2021 Wrangler JLUR. She was introduced to Tierra Del Sol Four Wheel Club early on and continued to attend the monthly General Meetings, finding the information and discussions during the meetings a great resource to learn more about the do’s and don’ts when off-roading, trail runs or events and making new friends in this close-knit community.

 

In the last four years, diving into the off-road world, Cathy has combined her two passions of off-roading and giving back to the community, to keep them beautiful and accessible, as a (volunteer) Tread Lightly Tread Trainer. She enjoys educating and heightening public awareness for good stewardship like #leavenotrace as one example. She can often be found participating or leading a trail clean up.
