I was born in a Jeep in 1958. In 1962 I helped my dad, uncle & friends draft the first Bylaws for a new family club we called TIERRA DEL SOL FOUR WHEEL DRIVE CLUB OF SAN DIEGO. Well, I completed kindergarten and went on to get an MD from Harvard, and a JD (Jeep Doctor) from ABC KeyShop. Married Cindy in 1980 and we had 2 children Peter & Laura. Peter is an Eagle Scout (which cost me many years as Scoutmaster). Laura works as software programmer at Sony Playstation and is nearly finished her JD thesis.

I’m currently driving a 2006 TJ. I reckon about half my time is spent fixing it, and the other half breaking it. I’ve held almost every position in TDS over the years, but I may have gotten myself stuck in this one. Aliens once found me interesting for mysterious reasons and abducted me. They let me go after I fixed the subspace carburetor on their ship and in gratitude granted me some super-human powers. Semi-retired now and still working part-time as a Maxillofacial Surgeon when I’m not Jeep’n, camping, fishing, exploring, or relaxing around the campfire. I can proudly say I’ve never told a story that weren’t at least partly true.
