Desert Safari 2012 is now history, and the dust is settling. The weather was perfect and it was a great time. The Tierra Del Sol club is very grateful that you chose to share the 50th Desert Safari with us. We met great people, great vendors, ran great trails. Then to add to it, we all had a chance to win some of the $165K in prizes, and watched an awesome fireworks show. We just want to say thank you!
On first count we reached a new attendance record of 1768 registered participants get more.
I know we had a few problems with T-Shirts this year by having much fewer than we needed for all of the participants and their families. In the next week or so we will be putting together a plan to place, fill, and ship you your shirts if you were one of the unlucky ones to get there early to purchase your shirts.
Please forgive us for this oversight. This is a serious roll of the dice when it comes to estimating how many shirts, sizes and colors we will need a month or so later. Especially when we reach new heights. Our trusty crystal ball did not work well this year. Because of this, we are working to get an alternative solution in place.
