San Diego 4 Wheelers – Superstition 28

TDS BOD and Members will be attending this overnight event with the San Diego 4 Wheelers. We highly encourage you to consider supporting their event. This event, as ours helps keep public lands open for public use.
The San Diego 4 Wheelers invites you to join us at the 28th Annual Superstition Mountain Run at Superstition Mountain OHV area just west of El Centro, CA. We have a variety of trails from SUV to Category 5 runs and a HUGE raffle (including a special LADIES-ONLY RAFFLE!). Beginners and new 4X4s welcome! This event is open to vehicles that do not require a helmet (i.e. no side-by sides, quads, or motorcycles).
The base camp will be near the end of Wheeler Road, close to where the BLM Kiosk used to be (just before Wheeler turns north). The GPS coordinates for the event are 32.92158, -115.81181. The ground is firm, level, and there is plenty of room for RVs and tents. The club will provide porta-potties and a large dumpster for trash will be available onsite. The terrain is desert, so bring firewood if you want a fire.
WARNING! Any pallets or wood with nails in it is prohibited. You will be cited by the BLM Rangers.
